Moving Towards a Life Without Limitations

Hi there! I’m Linda Bull and I’m so happy to share my story with you. Here are the basics about me. I have been married to my husband Jon for 13 years and have 3 children, Brenna age 11, twin boys Nolan and Evan, age 8 and Riley the best dog pal, who is now 15. In addition to being an Essential Oil educator and Silver Young Living leader, I am a Child & Family Therapist and specialize in working with children with extraordinary needs and chronic illness.

I want to start by telling you WHY I am here, using, loving and sharing Young Living Essential Oils. You see our journey toward wellness is actually a long and twisted one and in a bit I will share some pieces of that with you. But first let me say that MY why is rooted in FREEDOM. That means different things to different people. To me it means living life the way WE choose without health or financial barriers and being able to give freely to others. That last part is incredibly important to me. I have always been interested in helping others (hence becoming a therapist right?) but I have always experienced limitations in my ability to give to others. Whether it be the time, financial or various other restrictions, I have always felt like there was more I wanted to share, give or do. However in the past 3 years that has changed in so many ways.

I started with Young Living a little over 3 years ago and I will say I did so full of skepticism. Now let me clarify I was already well on my way to be a hippie, crunchy natural mama. You see we had already experienced a variety of health issues from the time my sweet kiddos were young babies. This began for us when my son Evan at 6 months old became very sick with eczema that became infected with MRSA over and over. He was hospitalized and treated with IV antibiotics several times and the only solutions that we received were focused on treating his symptoms, until we sought the help of a holistic pediatrician who finally diagnosed him with food allergies and helped us heal his gut. I kid you not when I say that as a breast-feeding mama I changed my diet immediately to remove the offending foods and we began a protocol that included some basic supplements like probiotics. 3 months later my little guy looked amazing and he has never had a patch of eczema again. WOW! Right!

And so it began, because when you know better, you do better. So when my good friend told me I needed to try Young Living Essential Oils, this should have been a no brainer for me right? Well, yes except that I had already tried “other” brands of essential oils and our results were…meh. So I felt like “been there, done that”. But my friend, knowing how often my kids were still getting sick and the health struggles we continued to face, urged me to try Thieves. And because I love her and trust her, I did. I rolled that Thieves on the bottom of their feet and wouldn’t you know, that little bottle supported their immune systems in a way that nothing else ever had! And so that was it. I was sold. I bought my Premium Starter kit and began to slowly explore the other awesome oils in that kit. At that time, Valor and Peace and Calming were a part of the starter kit. We had heard some AMAZING things about Valor so we gave it a try. If you tried Valor then I don’t need to tell YOU, but wow! This oil had such an incredible impact on me. As a mom who felt like a hot mess trying to navigate the world of kids and career, Valor was just what I need to greet each day with a positive and more confident attitude.

The more oils we tried, the more we fell in love. And of course once you love something you cannot help but shout from the rooftops. And being a person who is passionate about helping others and sharing information with others, that is exactly what I did. It wasn’t long before I found myself exploring the business side of Young Living. It has been an amazing and unexpected 3 years and I have had some incredible experiences on this journey. As a Silver leader, I was sent to Utah to participate in a retreat with other Silver leaders at the Young Living farm in Mona, Utah. This experience was incredible. Not only was I able to see the seed to seal process in person, experience the entire distillation process and listen to the founders talk about their passions and THEIR why BUT I also met other YL leaders, some further on this journey than myself. When I sat on that beautiful farm and listened to these other leaders share their story and their passion, it became clear to me how very possible it was to achieve that freedom I talked about earlier. I have met women and men who are living out that dream for themselves through Young Living and it is such a beautiful thing.

Now my family lives a chemical free lifestyle and slowly we are moving towards a life without limitations. I want that for everyone…the people I love and the people I don’t even know yet. Because I believe that teaching others how YL oils and products can help them live above that wellness line is one of the ways I can live out my desire to give freely to others and in turn more of us can celebrate freedom!
