As JoAnn, Joelle, and Jillian sat down to a family dinner, not thinking it would be any different than the many other shared meals, they didn’t know that things were just starting to change for them.

It was February of 2014 when the three of them started talking about the essential oils that their friend was using. Already a very natural and holistic-minded family, they had some familiarity and some

experience with oils themselves. The conversation at the table was full of “So I tried this new oil by

Young Living.” “Me, too! So and so gave me a sample to try!” Or, “You know I used those on the dogs. I

have an old membership.” And there was a lot of “Call me back and let me know what you think. I’m curious to see if you get the same response I did.”

The three ladies thought it would end at the dinner table until all the phone calls started. Over the nextfew weeks, a series of inspired conversations ensued. Each one began with, “You’re NOT going to

believe this, but….”, and they continued to find more WOW moments with Young Living oils.

Those first weeks were full of many, many, WOW moments, and each one was a surprising and rapid

help to restoring their families’ health and wellness. They now had seemingly simple solutions to

questions that haunted them for a while. Time and again, one of them said, “That can’t be. How is it

even possible it worked that well?”

JoAnn, Joelle, and Jillian (Get it? Get it? J3) had a common interest in health, healing and helping others. All three of them found that sharing oils seemed so natural while talking with friends and family at the

pre-school, soccer, bus stop, or over coffee. Without realizing they were doing it, they were doing it!

Suddenly, everyone wanted to know “So, tell me more about these oils! Where can I get some?” Hmmm. The three started to think that if people were going to buy them, maybe they should be buying them

from them? Why not? That’s how they stumbled into a business. Reluctantly, they decided to create a

team—because NO one goes into this thinking they’ll become a businessperson.

And, J3 was born. JoAnn, Joelle, and Jillian are small business owners of Young Living distributorships.

They formed a business group called, “J3 Droppers” based on their three J names and their upline

lineage of an amazing Young Living group called the Lemon Droppers.

The threesome quickly grew as they shared the oily goodness with others. Next thing they knew, they

had a team of amazing friends, business partners, and leaders. Each new person adds to the talents of

the group and brings their own unique gifts and qualities to the team: Each one helping J3 grow into

something more like a close knit family than a business. It is important that their entire team knows that J3 is here to SERVE others, EMPOWER every member, EDUCATE people on the oils, and be a

COMMUNITY that is supportive, giving and sharing. It’s just what they do.

They share.

Creating a team, sharing leadership, serving their members, offering oil education, fun experiences and the ability to connect with each other became a priority. They needed to share their oily adventures andall those WOW moments.

Essentially was born to fill all of those needs and more. J3 Droppers all share essential oils and

information to empower, educate and inspire others in the hopes of positively changing the lives of its members. There you have it the birth of J3 through the birth of essentially and all the oily goodness

in between that they proudly share with others.

You may be wondering what does this mean to team members and to customers. Here’s how it works.

To meet the many needs of the members and customers, Essentially is purposefully divided into

different key areas or facets.

Growing the J3Droppers team and member base. We will always strive to grow and evolve. With this

blog, we hope to SERVE you even further by touching on different topics each week of the month:

1. Essentially Speaking: In the first week of every month, we’ll profile a Team Member and WHY they are sharing the oils with people. This month, we opted to profile our J3 origins so you can understand why we do what we do; and why we love it so much. #essentiallyspeaking.

2. Essentially Living: In the second week of each month, we will highlight ways you can use oils in your EVERYDAY LIFE. #essentiallyliving

3. Essentially Educated: In the third week of each month, we’ll offer EDUCATION about oil products and promos (WHO DOESN’T LOVE FREE OILS!?!) #essentiallyeducated

4. Essentially Playing: In week four of each month, we will provide seasonal info regarding oils including

how to use and PLAY with your oils (new recipes and ideas.) #essentiallyplaying

We will publish every Wednesday, so keep an eye out because … we just might be

giving stuff away for FREE!!! (Psst…it’ll be GOOD, we promise!) EEEEEKKK!!

If you made it this far, thank you! Be sure to tell us your Wow moment with Young Living in the comments below!
