Do You Speak Karen's Language?

Well Hello!

My name is Karen DeMonaco and I’ve been an essential oil addict since March 20, 2014. You could say my oil adventure began on Facebook. Well, I mean my true adventure did. I did own some oils that I purchased from a craft fair for different symptoms I was experiencing, and I liked them. I just never in a million years thought I would come to LOVE essential oils them and use them as much as I do now. I started to speak 'Oil!'

So back to my Facebook stalking ... errr research: I was looking at Facebook instead of doing something else I should probably be doing, and I noticed Joelle (yes the very same Joelle from J3) posted that Young Living Oregano essential oil was helping her keep the nasty bug that was affecting everyone away. WHAT??? How is Oregano helping her keep away the bug (meanwhile I am totally picturing Joelle with a bottle of McCormick dried Oregano and she’s sprinkling it all over herself.) I am totally a curious girl, so I messaged her. “Joelle, what are you doing with Oregano to help you avoid the icky symptoms everyone is experiencing?” She said she's using Oregano Essential Oil to support her family's health. Hmmmm now my brain is whirling away. Could a simple oil really promote that much wellness? INTERESTING…so I said, "Joelle, how can I get this miracle oil and how do I use it?" Well I could go on and on. Three years later, I now know how awesome these oils are. I know how to use them and how to share them with others. I love helping people learn about essential oils.

The great thing about this business is everyone is so excited about how the oils work that they want to share it with the world. I have made so many new friends on this amazing journey and have been to some pretty incredible places because of it. I have been to the Young Living Farm in Mona, Utah twice and am scheduled to attend the Young Living Convention in June so I will be visiting the farm again.

One of the biggest things I am asked is 'Do these oils REALLY work or are you just trying to sell me something? Oils, for me, is not about the money I can earn to help support my family. I always respond to that question the same way - essential oils work for me and my family. Our doctor visits are greatly reduced, which also saves money on co-pays. In fact, I can't remember the last time I bought an over the counter product except Band Aids. I tell them the best part about my choice to use Young Living is that I know it’s completely pure essential oils (I even watched them distill the oils at the farm). I know my family is not being harmed by side effects from medications. That makes all the difference for me.
