Did you stock up with the great sales on Black Friday and December 12 and today's release of the long-awaited Peace & Calming?

I know some very lucky people in my family are getting oily gifts this Christmas. From USB diffusers to dryer ball kits with lavender oil, I shopped for everyone. I even found an oily solution for my Marine nephew. EVERYONE can benefit from oils - even my tough 100% tough dude Marine! (Just to be clear, I admire his service and completely respect our military members.) Young Living has showered us with some pretty sweet deals recently, and this means there are even more great ways to share essential oils and bring chemical-free living and good health into our homes.

We know that the premium starter kit is the Number One best way to share oils and introduce folks to a healthier lifestyle. When you purchase a premium starter kit, you receive a bonus oil. This month's bonus oil is Christmas Spirit. So many of us love diffusing Christmas Spirit, especially this time of year. The cinnamon and orange notes add just the right amount of spice and scent to bring back great memories and help you relax. You can use it on a car diffuser, a closet diffuser, diffuser jewelry and especially in your aromatherapy diffuser. You could also dilute with a carrier oil and apply Christmas Spirit topically. The wonderful scents of Orange, Cinnamon Bark and Black Spruce essential oils will fill you with positive energy and a delightful seasonal scent. Click here for the specific details on Christmas Spirit Essential Oil. We also ran a very detailed description in last month's promotional spotlight blog post that you can reference in the sidebar on the right side of the blog as well. Now...I saved the best for last. Did you know there is a BRAND NEW OIL?!!! Yes. It is worth the shouty capital letters because you'll be super EXCITED, too!

The monthly December promos are pretty incredible this month! The HUGUNDOUS news is that Gary Young has formulated a new essential oil called Excite.

Excite is...well...EXCITING! Excite is a newly released oil specifically crafted for the busy holiday times to inspire a sense of energy and excitement. It can be applied topically as 1 drop of Excite to 4 drops carrier oil. Excite Essential Oil can also be diffused up to 10 minutes three times a day. It contains Cassia Mastrante, Ocotea, Candian Fleabane, Jade Lemon, Black Pepper, Hinoki, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Spearmint, Nutmeg and Tangerine. Essential Oils.

In addition to one 5 ml bottle of Excite, this ordering level also offers a 15 ml of Abundance, NingXia Nitro, a 5 ml Orange Vitality, a 5 ml Nutmeg and 5 ml Tea Tree. Orders of 250 PV receive a box of NingXia Nitro (14 20 ml tubes), a 5 ml Orange Vitality, 5 ml Nutmeg and 5 ml Tea Tree oils. 190 PV orders receive a 5m l Nutmeg, 5 ml Orange Vitality and 5 ml Tea Tree. Orders of 100 PV earn 5 ml Tea Tree. Click here for the specific details on the December Promotion Offer.

Let's meet the other rock stars in spotlights for this month's promotions:

  • Abundance comes in a 15 ml bottle and offers an alluring mix of Orange, Frankincense, Patchouli, Clove, Myrrh, Cinnamon Bark, Spruce and Ginger Essential Oils. Don't be fooled by this oil synergy - it is powerful and complex and supports energizing feelings and emotions. Ancient cultures used oils like orange and ginger in formulas like this to attract prosperity and magnify joy and peace. You can apply Abundance Essential Oil to your neck, wrists and over your heart. You can also diffuse it.

  • NingXia NITRO is the healthy answer to an energy slump. Instead of dumping sugary, hyper-caffeinated 'energy drinks' into your system, use NingXia NITRO as a healthier option. It is full of botanical extracts, D-ribose, Korean ginseng and green tea extract to help support alertness, cognitive fitness and physical fitness. The best thing is the small, convenient packaging. It's easy to pop one in your gym bag or your desk at work.

  • Orange Vitality is a 5 ml bottle of 'citrusy' goodness. It's about as close to fresh oranges as you can get. And your baked goods - even your tea - will never be the same after using this wonderful oil in them. I've heard rumors about delicious fudge made with orange essential oil. YUM! Did you know the oil is made by cold pressing the rind?

  • Nutmeg (5 ml) is sometimes the unsung hero in the kitchen and in our diffusers. Nutmeg essential oil is steam distilled from fruits and seeds. Its sweet and spicy flavor is energizing and uplifting in your diffuser. Try diffusing Nutmeg with Orange, Clove and Ginger. Nutmeg also blends well with Cinnamon Bark, Frankincense, Lemon, Patchouli, Rosemary, Tea Tree and Melissa essential oils. Let us know which combination you prefer by commenting on this post.

  • Tea Tree Oil is a staple in many oily homes because of its respiratory and skin support qualities. Respiratory support is so key this time of year when getting the right solution at the right time makes the difference between good health and 'testing your immune system.' Whether you're a teenager or at the other end of the age spectrum, tea tree supports your skin's needs. Do you know the four types of tea tree oil? This one is the Melaleuca Alternifolia essential oil, and there are three more: Melaleuca Cajuput, Melaleuca Ericifolia and Melaleuca Quinquenervia. The distinctions between the four is in the molecules found in each plant called constituents. Those constituents are what give each oil its unique properties. So even though they all come from the same botanical family, the individual parts make each one distinct. There are links for the Alternifolia and Quinquernevia oils to the Young Living site so you can click on those for more details.
