While getting ready for this blog post, I couldn't stop thinking about this meme...

Fortunately for you, there is a cleaner and easier way to whiten your smile. (Heavy metal optional.)
Have you heard about this at all? It’s a great way to learn more about Young Living toothpaste (maybe the mouthwash too!) and how great it is for your teeth. Several months ago, I started to see things posted about this on other oilers’ Facebook pages; I was curious. And to be honest, I really didn’t want to miss out - I hate missing out!
You already brush your teeth right? Me too!! We are awesome. So in order to keep being awesome, I figured you’d love to know how this challenge works, too. Its crazy simple! It's toothpaste and essential oil teaming up to brighten your smile. Here's how you do it.
For a full month, you’ll need to get your hands on Young Living AromaBright toothpaste (some used Dentarome Plus) and Orange or Orange Vitality essential oil. If you’d like to really amp up the challenge, Thieves Mouthwash is a great addition too. It’s as easy as this: put the YL toothpaste on your toothbrush like you would any other toothpaste and then top it with 1 drop of Orange or Orange Vitality Essential oil. Then brush those pearly whites! I’m a bad girl and only brush in the morning. However, if you brush at night too or after meals, you do this at those times too. Easy peasy!!! If you use the mouthwash, I suggest to use it before you brush. Its “woodsy” and very different than the super minty mouthwash you get from the store but equally if not more intense.
What I noticed was pretty interesting. First thing was the lack of suds. Did you know that conventional toothpaste uses Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfate to make the familiar suds? This stuff is for the birds! Some research shows that SLS has shown links to skin and eye irritation, developmental/reproductive issues, endocrine disruption and worse. And we put this stuff all over our bodies and in our systems?! The second thing I noticed – WOW MY TEETH FELT SO CLEAN!! Not only that, my teeth still felt clean later into the day than when I used conventional toothpaste. I also noticed that it tastes really yummy!
Does this combo really work? YES! This before and after pic is actually me and my teeth.

I’m pretty impressed! How about you? Let’s take the challenge together - make sure you take those before and after pics. We would love to see your pearly whites so post your before and after pics to this post next month!
